Beatriz Arnillas started her career in education teaching English as a second language and World History San Ignacio de Loyola HS, in Peru. She completed her Master of Fine Arts and was an artist-in-residence in KY schools. Beatriz accepted a studio art professor position at Seton Hill University, where she started working with digital media/graphics and html, and earned tenure. She is an accredited instructional systems designer; has held education administration and professional development positions at Texas A&M, Blinn College, University of Houston and Halliburton before joining Houston ISD, where she leads the PowerUp initiative.

Frank Catalano is an education technology industry consultant and analyst, as well as a well-known tech commentator. He's worked with a wide variety of edtech and digital learning companies from lean startups to established global firms, including Pearson, McGraw-Hill, Apple and MetaMetrics. Earlier, Frank served as senior vice president of marketing for Pearson's U.S. K-12 businesses. Frank's also a consulting Senior Analyst for MDR’s EdNET Insight market research service. He writes a regular column for the technology news site GeekWire, has contributed to education news sites EdSurge and MindShift, and tweets @FrankCatalano.
