- Microsoft Innovative Educator pre-conference workshop Sunday, June 26, 8:30 a.m. A hands-on professional development session on using technology effectively in the classroom. Register early.
- Spotlight sessions Monday, June 27 and Tuesday, June 28. Explore teaching innovations, such as social media and global collaboration, enabled through technology.
- Dell Connected Classroom, booth #903 in the exhibit hall See demonstrations on how technology can be integrated in the 21st century classroom, including sessions on digital content adoption, personalization standards and curriculum for teachers by teachers.

Forum will include audience interaction with the students and a focus on how technology empowers global learning initiatives. First 500 attendees will receive a voucher for lunch at the Reading Terminal Market on Dell.

Quality Assessment with SMART Student Response—Use SMART Student Response to create formative and summative assessment tools to measure student learning. Jeff VanArnhem Participants will be presented with strategies for helping create a balanced assessment system using SMART Response student response system. We will model the gathering of real-time data on what your students know in order to guide instruction and student learning. We will discuss the creation of question items, the timing of the assessment in the instruction process, and the use of the results to determine what comes next. We will also look at the SMART Response system's place in summative assessment. |
