ISTE NETS—leading digital age education

ISTE’s NETS are a comprehensive set of standards for effective learning, teaching and leading in the digital age. ISTE developed the NETS with input from the field and pioneered their use among educators. The NETS are widely recognized and adopted worldwide.

The NETS family of standards include: NETS for Students (NETS•S), NETS for Teachers (NETS•T), NETS for Administrators (NETS•A), NETS for Coaches (NETS•C) and NETS for Computer Science Educators (NETS•CSE). These standards work together to transform education and set the standards for best practices in learning, teaching and leading with education technology.
