Sunday, June 24, 1:30–3 pm Exhibit Hall B1

Make the most of ISTE’s rich content—at ISTE 2012 and year round. In this fast-paced, fun program, digital lifestyle expert Mario Armstrong and innovative educator Peggy Sheehy will help you:

  • Get oriented and find out what’s new this year at ISTE 2012.
  • Learn about your ISTE membership benefits (included with conference registration).
  • Network with your colleagues and make new friends.
  • Win prizes! (All attendees will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win an iPad, Kindle Fire, or iPod Touch.)

Additionally, we’ll recognize all ISTE Award winners and we’ll be highlighting some exemplary member stories.

ISTE Member Networking Fair

Sunday, June 24, 3–5 pm SDCC Lobby

  • Special Interest Group (SIG) Open House
Learn what ISTE Special Interest Groups are all about by taking a stroll through our SIG Open house. SIG membership offers a great way to increase your knowledge base and connect with like-minded colleagues. Meet the volunteers who lead SIGs year round, learn more about SIG activities (onsite and throughout the year) and find out how you can get involved as a volunteer.

  • Tweetup Meetup
Connect face-to-face with people you follow virtually on Twitter. Meet your tweeps, hashtaggers, and #edchat moderators in person. Tweet you there! #don’tmissit

  • Young Educator Network (YEN) Meet-up
ISTE's Young Educator Network is a network-creating, resource-sharing, fun-loving community for educators. Visit the YEN booth and join other young educators who share your passion for all things ed tech!
